How to raise a happy Child

Do you ever wonder why everyone gets all soft when a matter concerns a child, well, that's the way it is. Some people say children are angels and I believe that.

Children have this innocence that is so charming, no wonder the Bible says that we adults must have attitudes like children before we can enter heaven. Everyone wants to go to heaven I guess!

Now raising adorable, happy children needs some work. Children are like blank sheets and they act out whatever is written on them. So to have a happy and well trained child requires you to work for it. We need to consciously guide our children in the right path for them to become great children.

Some people would say that nature and nurture are in a never ending battle to claim the disposition of your child. Which would you choose? Nurture of course. There are a lot of things we can do to safeguard our children from the damage exposure to the large world can do to them, which in turn makes them unruly and difficult.

The responsibility to raise and nurture happy and healthy children rests on us and in fulfilling this responsibility we should:

1.Limit the child's exposure to media, doing this will prevent the child being exposed to all the violent programs being aired and also you would actually be helping promote the child's creativity and broaden their attention span.

2.Teach your child and do not assume its being done by their teachers or caregivers.

3. Let your child know he is more important than work. Play and interact, let them enjoy a bit of you every day.

4.Model appropraite behaviour

5.Most importantly, love unconditionally.
